Orphaids and FUNHO partnering in Colombia
Orphaids Ecuador and FUNHO (Colombia) work closely with their respective governments – meeting with both Government Ministers and their representatives to provide advice in the areas of HIV and Sexual Health, and to support government initiatives targeting these issues.
The FUNHO team has on occasion travelled to Ecuador to meet with the Orphaids UK charity trustees. FUNHO provides regular detailed information on the work being jointly undertaken in the Palmira and Pereira regions of Colombia – namely outreach and the education of children, young people and mothers around HIV & AIDS and providing assistance for those suffering in the community.
